This event celebrates the opening of the club (2009), and is contested as an anniversary event each year. It takes the form of a one-day pairs competition, to which all the other Algarve bowls clubs (and Isla Canela) are invited to send entries. There is a trophy, which is engraved with the winners' names and to be retained at Valverde, and prizes and smaller individual trophies for the winning players.

For 2009, this competition was held on Sunday 18th October, and was sponsored by "Celebrations" of Albufeira.
